Hi. Have recently bought a High Roof Doblo to use as a mobile office and reckon this will be the car for me for the forseeable future due to their unique dimensions (smallish-car; ultra high roof).
Decided to overhaul it before using it. So far I have changed the gearbox with a new box from a nearly-new write-off; have replaced the door check strap; undertaken a full service - air, fuel & oil filters; replaced the clutch; replaced all tyres; & the rear bump-stops.
Mobile office adaptations: Installed desk & drawer pedestal; 1500W inverter; 2 x 110 amp leisure batteries & split charging regulator; 240v power points; blacked out rear windows; installed black out curtains.
I have also replaced the diesel particulate filter (DPF). But this does not seem to have stopped the car going into limp mode, so this may have been a waste of time and money (£413 for the part plus £115 fitting). I am currently trying to work out what the real problem is. Suggestions gratefully received.
