I have a 2001 punto hgt which has recently gone mental,the side lights,indicators and rear wiper seem to be getting power all the time when the engine is running,the central locking comes on and off when i press the hazard light switch when the car is not running,when the car is running,the engine is dog rough,hunts and cuts out,sometimes there is throttle response other times not so much,there is the warning light on the dash to say that a light is out somewhere on the car,seems to have something to do with the short in the electrical system,think it might be the body computer behind the fusebox,can anyone help,would be very much appreciated,cheers

Just check the earth point on the n/s/f inner wing under bonnet...you will see a plastic cover over it and 13mm bolt....they come apart and cause the symptons you are explaining
