have a 2001 Marea Weekend 1.6 with a noisy gearbox when clutch depressed. not sure where I should ask for advice as to what the problem could be. gearbox jerky when pulling away in first gear, and now horrible rattling type noise has developed..

Oops it sounds like your clutch bearing and clutch need attention/renewal, and quickly too!!...

If you cant do it yourself, get quotes from a number of garages for a replacement clutch...
