Hopefully I'll have a 500 Lounge Multijet pretty soon, bought under the scrappage scheme - it was the one sitting on the showroom floor. The dealer has had 16 inch alloys fitted, while I've had a towbar fitted. It seems that I'm the first person to ask him for one!

Frustratingly, it seems that the dealer is still awaiting authorisation to release the car under the scrappage scheme from Fiat, who in turn seem to be waiting for confirmation from BERR. Bummer!

Collecting 9am on Saturday. About time too!

Just bought my new Qubo with scrappage from my old Volvo 440. Two visits to the dealer and a few forms sorted it all out, all went without a hitch and picked it up last Thursday. Already had a complaint from a neighbour about the colour!

Buying the showroom cars must be a common thing - my Qubo was the one sitting unregistered in the dealership as I really did not want to wait 12-14 weeks for it (especially as the old car was in real need of a new clutch)!

A towbar on a 500? Wow! Would love to hear what you plan to tow..

Chris, when you get your 500, can you back it up to a 22ft twin-axle caravan and take a photo? Would look really funny behind such a compact little car
