Hi all!
I'm Jason from Ipswich & new to the FiatForum!
So please bear with me, as I work out how to do this stuff!?
I got a 1992 Panda (Classic) Dance from a work friend about year ago,
His kids learned to drive in it on his land,
When I got it,
It was green, should be white!
airfilter was nearly full of wheat,
stuck in gear, but gearlever flopped around everywhere,
no brakes, as rear engine mount had come undone
& the engine knocked the reservoir off the master cylinder!
1 of CV joint boots cracked, when removed boot, waited for oil to fall,
but was greeted by 3 rings of CV joint & needle bearing paste!
Fixed that, filled with oil, then found other boot leaked! bah!
lastly the engine didn't quite fire up,
due to the fuel pump's one way valves stuck open!
So when engine stopped, fuel went back to the tank!!
Spent my time fixing it up as I work in the open, chucked it in for MOT,
failed on missing exhaust rubber & rear brakes,
Fix it all, & passed, been enjoying ever since!
had a few problems with fuel contamination,
took tank off (which was fun?) & flushed it out & the carb too!!
Running like a dream now, may adjust float level again? I see how it goes!
I'll try and post picture of it if I can work that out??
bye for now,
Jason
