Hi all, im currently running my old punto R reg sporting, just ready to purchase a new Grande sporting, but need some help as to what model!!
i prefer the 1.9 diesel sporting, but cant seem to get a 56 or 07 plates for £7.5k!!!! so it looks like a 1.4 16v or a 1.4 t jet... Whats the difference, the only thing i can see is the turbo on the T jet, or does the 16 valve have a turbo or just injection? Whats the better model and why ? please advise, I have seen a 1.4 16v on a 56 plate with 11k on the clock for £7499!! caribeen orange it looks a real eye catcher!!
any help appreciated, im checking all dealers but if anyone knows a garage and you haven any info would be mint!!
laters Philer.

Oh NO! Here comes the MJet / TJet argumant again :p

What ya mean M jet or T jet issue? whats the difference and has i said i cant get a 1.9

Search the posts and you will see...

TJet is a 1.4 petrol turbo, MJet is a 1.9 diesel turbo. Marginal performance differences and if you do +15,000 miles a year it may be worth you considering an MJet, if not dont, but they have far greater tuning potential (cheap to do too)

The TJet has less tuning potential at the moment but that is being worked on, the driving experiences of both are very different even tho the cars look alike.

ive been looking on perrys car website and motorhouse i cant find anymore stockists in the country, except fiat main deal;ers and they are rare or a fortune to purchase!
anyone know any garages that frequently purchase them i have the cash and am itchin to buy one!

to find one, youll just have to keep your finger on the pulse if your not bothered about going to the dealers. im not sure about prices tho. i bought mine brand new on the 56 plate from a dealership in worksop and they wanted 14,000 for it because of the extras it came with. but after some accidental bartering i got for 10,500. but that was a year and a half ago now, so i dont know wot they go for, the 19tdi sportings that is.
