hi im new to forum,s so please be kind to me
had a realy bad week and think its about to get worse
my main workhorse (white van) died on friday scudo 1900 d
the cluch started to make a terible noize and the van came to a standstill
I got it towed to my local garage where they said "it will take 2 weeks to fix" at a cost of 400 pounds ......gulp

i went to buy a cheepo runaround to get me buy for this time and the guy there offered to recover and fix my van for 250 pounds
well things were looking up!!!
till his mechinick rang saying the noize was a con rod lol
I told him to go look at the clutch and pay attition to the linkage bearing
as this was what was making the noize (found that infomation on this site thanks ) it realy filled me with dread that the fool had even started my engin

anyway as they say a man who never made a mistake never opend his mouth

And good luck with getting the Scudo clutch sorted. I did my Uno clutch the other week and it cost me all in about £45. I did all the work myself though

well blow me they only went and fixed it over the week end !!!!
and at the price they stated
the clutch and forks were truly bent and the bearing had gone
they replaced it all for 250 quid
