New 500 Owner

Hi all, was looking around & found this forum.

I ordered a 500 a few weeks ago, 1.2 Pop in Jive Blue with a load of extras.

She we will look a little like this but wiyhout the stripes & with more chrome trim.

Sorry mate, but I think £7995 for a premium small hatch is excellent value for money. Especially when you consider a similar MINI is around £11000

The 500 was never designed to compete with budget cars from korea, such as the picanto/getz etc.

Neither was it meant to compete with base cars such as the Yaris/Corsa etc.

It is designed to stand out and be different to them cars.

Plus fiat needed to make it a little bit more expensive then the base pandas

If you want a practical car get a Panda, if you want a fun small car (which is a bit practical), you get a 500. Saying that, i would rather have a Panda 100 at the minute

OOOOOOH very nice! I particularly like the colour, a few simple mods and that will be good to go.

I also like the stipes, though yours doesnt have them.... they look pretty swishhh on that car

For that money you can get a 100hp Panda on line..same 1.4 engine and no turbo to go wrong give me the Panda any day of the week :slayer:

Now the price is confirmed as £7900 it's even better news.

Who cares if you can get a Panda 100 for the same money, a Panda 100 is not a 500, & I want a 500

I reckon the New 500 is spot on. Can't think of any other new car in that price bracket that will win so many admiring glances.
