morning all,my first post.just traded my 55 eleganza in for a pre reg 100hp in grey.long history with fiat.first drove a 127 in 78,have driven a regata (oh dear) strada arbarth (what a hoot) love em.fiat have appeared to sort out build quality,in 15000 miles with ozzy i had a number plate bulb blow,and replace the drivers side windscreen wiper.
started first time and never let me down.nothing fell off.
fix it again tomorrow appears to be sorted.
just done 250 miles in the 100 hp,love it.yes suspension is on hard side but the engine (a gem) is brilliant,goes round corners on rails,splendid.
lost it for a day yesterday,couple of small dimples on rear passenger door,loaned a 1.4 sport grande punto,what a barge after the 100hp.
got car back last night,brilliant job,spot the join etc...
any one else in lancs got one,all we see up here are the cooking panda (blue rinse brigade luv em.) saying that i,m no spring chicken,54 a couple of weeks ago.
but been driving around for a week with a large grin,brilliant car..regards..ian.
