Hi
My names Andrew, from Mount Barker, South Australia. I have a 1979 X19 which I bought when I was 16 3 years ago. Its my first car, and I love my baby!
Its pretty standard now. I have removed the big bumpers, fitted 14" wheels and a Sparco steering wheel. I have just been enjoying it since now, but in three weeks its coming off the road so I can restore it. It doesnt really have any rust, but I want to fix up a few small things to make it the way I want it. I have some twin 40 Webers for it, and will be doing the usual cam/ big valves/ exhaust/ bigger brakes to make it sweet on the track.
As I am studying at uni full time I havnt been able to compete in it as much as I want, but Ive still done a few Supersprints, hillclimbs at bathurst and collingrove and the odd motorkhana. Its brilliant fun, cant wait to improve it!
Anyway thanks very much and I'll see you all around....
