I can't get the bars to fit flush to the roof-line - front or rear bar. They seem to be sitting too high (about a 5mm gap between the base of the black rubber boot and the roof).

Can anyone help / point me in the direction of some instructions?

Wondering if the silver metal fitting should be sitting deeper into the roof, but can't see how it can.

I've not long bought a set of the Fiat roof bars from ebay (if you don't want to pay Fiat the full £170, I think that's the best place to look, umberto!). If you send me a PT or whatever you do on this forum, I can email you a scan of the instructions if that helps.
