Has anyone had a chattering noise when aircon is selected?
(Sounds like one of the pulleys near to the wheel but can pinpoint it), but it stops when aircon not selected/or stops between cycles of aircon!

no chattering but i do get a small puddle of water on the floor ( well i think its water ) machanic said it was condensation off the air con .....still yet to be convinced :worship:

Sorted just in time i as informed that crank pulley was about to fall apart!!!

Changed all the auxillary pulleys & belt! (well local garage did - £47 labour (Pleased with that part)) Fiat pulleys £145 Belt £7.50 local motorfactors!
Two of the pulley did need changing, but did all three so we won't be going back in a few months for that!! - can be a common problem at 95k+ "Shop4parts" have for sale the main crank pulley for about £20 cheaper than dealer prices if any help.


I can thoroughly recomend "Sterling Motors" @ Jobs Yard in Kettering for the service & price (& cheek "park it round the side so i don't have to look at the ugly thing")
