Hi All

I have a 2003 right hand drive model; is there an easy access, ready punched hole between the cabin and the engine compartment?

I have 2 amplifiers that need direct 12V hook up to the battery. I can't see any way in getting 2 runs of 8AWG cable through the firewall. I would prefer not to get the drill out so any advice would be appreciated.

Have any of you installed a ICE system in a Multipla?

Cheers
James

Hi Guys

In case someone does a search on this subject I now have some info; I ran a feed thru the firewall by drilling a hole (with a vacuum hose to collect swarf) in the panel directly behind the left hand high-beam assembly. Remove the assembly, drill the hole/s next to the existing wire loom. You will then have access to the hole high up under the dash but you will have to pull aside some of the sound deadening material.

Cheers

hey
what I did on my punto when I was wiring a switch up to my engine fan was I found the wire loom (where all the wires run through the firewall) it was on the passengers side for me and got a wall plug the wire could fit through so it wasn't to tight or loses and cut it 2cm long and made an cut in the wire loom rubber seal and inserted the wall plug this helped with feeding the wire through.
I hope this helps
