Sorry to hear you had a poor experience from partsinmotion.

I use partsinmotion very often and have found them very good.
Coincidently earlier today I was reading partsinmotion ebay store feedback and it appears recently they have struggled a bit meeting their usual standards. a small percentage of their feedback was negative.

Plus I had a webchat with partsinmotion this afternoon regarding a faulty mounting bush. Took a little while to go through their process but they refunded the cost including delivery without me having to post the £14 bush back to them - great.

Autodoc rubbed me up the wrong way two weeks ago.
Reccomend anyone using autodoc to ask them to note your account not to substitute part brands without prior permission.
I was sent Stark brand substitutions without prior notification, poor quality refused to use parts. If you complain enough via web chat they will send a prepaid return postage label but it; takes time, an extra trip to post office, wait for them to receive items back, contact them again , ask for refund rather than they hold my money ready for my next order!

Web search reveals autodoc often try the substitute starkparts(autodoc own label?)
Inflated price products hoping the consumer will think oh good I've got a more expensive part than ordered. Where in fact autodoc makes far more profit on stark products and quality is poor.

I will still use autodoc but making sure no substitutions of what I choose.

I was getting service parts together for a service

Ordered 3x parts

1 was shipped to registered address

1 to Argos

The 3rd was never received..

Customer service was poor.. ebay had to step in.

It looked like warehouse/ despatch were not in control.... component quality seemed fine
