i have a bit technical question regarding JTD 2003

1. i need to know what is the rpm signal pulse (say 40um/s etc?) for
JTD (you need oscilloscope to know this which i do not have). and the
duty cycle for the pulse?
2. what is the voltage for the rpm and when you rev the engine do the
rpm voltage goes up or down?
3. i ve been tryng to locate the correct wire to tap the rpm signal
(both from ECU and meter ) but the CD gives wrong location. the SC did
mentioned certain model info from the CD gives wrong wire.

if anyone can help me on this

please....

Depends at what speed the engine is turning as to the pulse frequency, what exactly are you trying to do so that we can give you an accurate reply? What speeds are you thinking of measuring at?

when vehicle is stationary and rpm reading at idling i.e abt 750 rpm(?) (if i not mistaken)

trying to fix rpm limiter but could not get the correct wire (as indicate in the workshop CD) even at the ECU as well as the meter.

i only have multimeter. on the wire mentioned in the cd, the voltage goes down when rpm goes up and it in range of 7volt.

i was told normally rpm signal very weak.

thanks in advance for help

Pm me if I dont get back to you next week, I am away from work at the moment, which wires are you checking, and do you have a hertz readout on your multimeter?
