OK so quick overview. Winifred is a 53 (2004) MULTIPLA 115 ELX JTD.

Just over a year ago my nephew was going to get something out of my car, he accidentally activated the alarm via the fob and then unlocked the car using the key. The alarm went off and I was unable to disable it using the fob, which had been playing up for a while. As I was a few hundred miles from home I called out the RAC who couldn't work out what to do but kindly removed the fuse which silenced the siren, the alarm remained activated. After a few days I reinserted the fuse and the alarm remained silent.

A few months later my battery decided to die and I had it replace by my mechanic (aka Dad, the qualified mechanic), the alarm remained silent.

This week, after the not using the car for 5 weeks, my Dad came to charge my battery and determine whether I needed a new one. The battery appears to be fine however the alarm is now going crazy. The siren is no longer silenced and as the fob doesn't work I cannot deactivate it. Now I have removed the fuses as per the instructions left with me by the RAC man but what I really want to do is shut the alarm off forever.

Can someone tell me how to do that?

I have seen many posts about removing things but none that actually tell me where to find the part I am meant to remove. I have also seen a few that mention a key panel which can be used, I don't have one of those. I have also tried the MAR/STOP method which doesn't work.

Thanks

Alarm is below battery near inner wing. Some years ago ... memory fading I am pretty sure I pulled out two connector blocks from it and after internal battery had died it shut up.
My actual fault was water in fuse box below glove box due to other family members.
