I am removing a sunroof and need help. The eLearn CD has pics for the description but none for the Procedure. The Description has a Lower frame (7) and Lower cover (9)
The Procedure says Undo the bolts securing the lower frame.
3. Lower lower frame (3a) by working from the rear and simultaneously raise upper frame (3b) and remove.

Do I remove the lower cover first to get at the bolts as there are none visible at the rear?

Hi
Thanks for your response. I had done the usual searches and they like yours are just about leaks which I am well familiar with!
I want advice on removing the sunroof!

Not having any pics on eLearn I removed all the visible torx bolts to remove the lower cover and can now see all the torx bolts holding the sunroof on. See attached pic

It’s not something I’ve ever had cause to remove, so I’m afraid I can’t offer any advice. I did have a good photo I found on the web some years ago ( I think it was on a South African website) that showed the roofs removed, taken from inside the car. I can’t find it now :( . So please take plenty of photos!

Both out: prior to putting ebay including motors, controls an harness! Here are some pics.
Just 9 screws at rear, 2 on each side and 3 at front: no mastic used or needed. Screws are numbered for order of tightening ala cylinder head bolts!

No sealant anywhere. They don't come out easily but after a few taps with the palm of the hand it starts to come away at the rear and is then it is easy.
