Our poor Multi seems to be having a bad time. I've put far too much time and parts on this to bin it off now so my only option is to keep on with it.
In the last few days it's been having non start issues. When it's running okay when you turn ignition on the code light comes on and then goes off all well and good.
But when its refusing to start there is no code light upon turning on ignition nor does it come on when turning over.

Its spins up just fine as I put a new battery on it last year, I put a new alternator on it two months back, most of the exhaust, rear arm bearings, rear brakes plus good knows how many other bits.
I do all the work myself so there's no labour.

I'm thinking it may just be poor connections in the various boxes, earths etc
I've seen many threads where the code light stays on but cant find anything on a non illuminating code light.
It's been intermittent but today it's done it twice. When I went to go recover it, the code light lit up and went off, the fuel. Pump primed and it struck up.
Anyone else had this? It only has one key and no key card or anthying.

There were some posts in October about red relay failing under bonnet causing no power to ECU and causing this. I got one working doing this.
Good luck

Thanks for pointing me to the right area. I'm thinking it was just a poor connection, I pulled the relay, the terminals looked fine so I just cleaned all the relay and fuse connections and that seems to have cured it.

Great news. Thanjs for feeding back. Someone had taken the relay enclosure of mine which probably helped it rust/die. Electrics are pretty sound generally I have found.
