My 1.6 Multipla has done around 200 000km, and the oily air from the crankcase ventilation pipe dirties the throttle body and sensors after a year or two. I have seen some American websites offering an 'oil catch can' which is basically a container with filter, and input and output, which plumbs into your crankcase ventilation pipe, and filters out the oil vapour before it reaches the throttle body.

Does anyone know if something like this is available for the Multipla 1.6 petrol?

Thanks. Gave the jam jar a try! Seems to be working fine. Leaving pipes loose on modern engines can cause problems with vacuum/ crank case pressure measurements I believe.
