Are there any super duper brakes out there for the jtd Multi.

I know it's a big heavy beast but when I compare my brakes to my ex hubby's brakes on his saab estate (2.4 petrol turbo vroom lol) mine are so much worse, and they always were...

Sooo I need new discs and pads on the front (advised on mot and noisy now :(. ) are there any out there that people love?

Selling my beautiful black 17" alloys, any interest?

I find that pagids or ferodos work and last well. Got ferodos on mine which have been on 5 years which now are due for changing.
Be very careful with so called uprated pads. Fast road pads even though they are labelled for road use really require warm up time to grip properly.
I have tuned many cars over the years and after having a bad experience with a big brand of performance pads have never used them since.

Pagid discs and pads for me, every time. Good performance, don't warp, don't make much dust (certainly less than Mintex, Greenstuff etc) and last a long time. Nicely finished too and don't seem to rust much if laid up for a while. Best prices I've found are on ebay. Buy yourself a small tube of Ceratec while you're there - it helps keep squealing to a minimum and only costs a couple of quid.

Check your pad type carefully. Some Multis have Bosch calipers, some ATE. The pads are different for the two and don't interchange. My ATE calipers have got both the ATE and Bosch logos cast into them, so even that doesn't help to identify them. Have a look here for help:

Agree on Pagid brakes, I've just changed to Fiat oem and they are wooden and no feel. I'm going to change the pads back to pagid soon as I've no faith in the Fiat ones.
Pad shape will be either Tabs or hooked shaped brake pads…..
