Ok. Let's get things in perspective here. JTD engine is a regular diesel engine in an irregular car. There must be loads of cars with JTD engines in Spain, not just Multis = there must be loads of Spanish mechanic geezers able to fix 'em.
In a similar situation, with an engine known to be in previously good order, I would go through my standard "diesel engine won't start" checklist as follows:
Battery charged, engine churning? - tick.
Glow worms glowing hot? - tick
Fuel getting through? - ????????????????????????
I think that your problem may lie here. There could be a number of reasons for this, including:
Feed from tank to pump leaking, allowing air in and stopping fuel from being pulled through.
Blockage. In line, in filter, at pump.
Major pump or immobiliser problem.
One way of bypassing the fuel supply is to provide your own, this is simpler than it sounds.
Diesels will fire up on all sorts of fuels. One that I have had success with is WD40 or similar ("EasyStart" can be used, but is harsher & more prone to producing spectacular backfire effects & singed eyebrows). This sounds mad but works.
Get access to air intake at engine side of air filter.
Get someone to spray WD40 into air intake as the engine is churned (don't forget the glow worms). Engine may start & run on the WD40 supply, if erratic diesel supply also exists, the running of the engine may pull this through.
Jump in, drive home, don't stop!
Failing this, find a mechanic or set fire to car & claim on insurance (that's a joke!).
Over the years, I have used this method succesfully in crappy Fords, Vauxhalls & on a Citroen Xantia. It can be used as a "get you home" or as a way to prove a fuel supply problem. I take no responsibility for ruined engines or explosions caused. This is merely a description of what I'd do in similar circumstances.
