i am new on here just a couple of Qs

i have fitted a cd player to my multipla alls ok but the ashtray broke and keeps on falling out when going over bumps

also when i have taken theradio cassete player out the fasia needs to be replaced the bit that says multipla

any one know where i can get these spare parts?

Most car accessory places can get you a facia adapter. I got mine from motor world for £12.99.

I also want to fit a CD player - does the coathanger wire trick work to get the fitted radio/cassette player out?

Oh and I froogled a replacement fascia deal 10:80 incl delivery and VAT from Audioleads - anyone know of better than that?

I used the ford pins from my old car to get my radio out. Only 50p each and much better than using a coat hanger.

I only had one at the time so had to jiggle each side alternatively but it was easy enough to do.

Does anyone have the original plate that surrounds and holds the factory blaupunkt stereo. It says MULTIPLA at the bottom. Mine has started to peel and I am looking for a good condition replacement, the dealer says that it comes with the stereo and is therefore not possible to buy one without a new stereo, I thought if any of you are taking yours out you may be able to help. Will pay by the way.

I'VE SEEN THOSE ON Ebay. I bet loads have been thrown away, I did when I put a CD player in!
