Should it clip onto the clutch lever mechanism in anyway?
Just when wiggling my gearbox like mad trying to get it on it came away but I managed to get it back on...but then still struggled to get the bellhousing back on and had to wiggle and shake somemore to get it home...
Now I'm worried it may of come adrift?? By that I don't mean off the shaft..just away from the lever

Did you figure out what was making it difficult to get the gearbox on?

Just lack of strength buy laying on the floor I think...it eventually popped on!
Another problem encountered now is the gearbox mount that has a captive nut inside that's decided not to be captive anymore!
Begrudge paying £50+ for a mount...

Getting abit demoralised now, I'm sick of getting wet under the car especially by that stupid drain tube that comes down from the bulkhead and as I'm not even sure this scrapper gearbox is gonna be any good,i can see either taking it off again or sending the multi to the claw in the sky!
