Hi Guys,

A bit of damage done to my rear passenger side door strip. I want to order up a new one. Got a quote off my local FIAT dealer which was high.

I want to order up a new one and spray and fit myself. I am having trouble
sourcing one as I have no part number. Anyone any idea of part number or were on the net I could source.

Thanks,
Tony.

Get your VIN number then click on the EPER button at the top of the page.

If your car was built after 2005 that version of EPER may not fully cover you, but I doubt something like a door trim will have changed much 2005-2010.

Might also be worth a quick look on ebay. New bits like that do come up from time to time.

If you're going to spray it, why not look at a scrappy?

Unfortunately, plenty of good condition Multi's available. D.A. Motors at Wickford or Motorhog.co.uk.

Or breakeryard.com never heard of motor hog what are they like

Lads,

Thanks for the help. I have rang around local breaker yards, I will have to buy a whole door just for the trim.
Might give the online scrap dealers a go, might get some joy there. I'll let you know how I get on...

All the best,
Tony.

Da motors will sell u the exact part as they sell doors bare with nothing on google it up and give him a call he ships all over the world

Motorhog.co.uk is the online name for Doncaster motor spares, several yards around trading under one name.

I bought a couple of blind hooks for the new car, £5 plus postage, recorded delivery.
They'll even photograph the item and email you so you know you're getting the right item - very impressed with their service.

Hi Marty,

I am from Dublin. Looking for a strip for an 07 reg.

To be honest its been damaged a while, I was going to get a new car but have decided to run the multipla into the ground. Apart from a problem with the head gasket last year it has been fine.

Whats the name of that scrapyard I'll give them a buzz, would be a bit of a spin though...

Thanks,
Tony.

Hi Tony,
I actually cant remember the name of the breakers...they call him "the Gander"!!.

ive PM'd you the email address i used to get details from them.
Marty.

The 2nd one would fit the 14 pound one the other one is from a mk1 in black that would be a pain in the ar se to spray because they have groves in them I just realised they for the wrong side how much r u looking to pay

I can get one for 53 euros from fiat. Going to give a breakers yard Marty suggested, if I cant get one on the cheap I am going to have a go at trying to sand the damaged strip I have, down, then tidy up with filler then prime and spray. I'll see what it looks like, if it doesnt look right I'll pay the 53 euro for it. Its very hard to find on the net...

Thanks for the help lads.

The scrappy in Kerry is Relehans, it's between Listowel and Tralee, they are on Facebook too.
