I have it working with Blackberry's and Samsung's, bur resistive in connectining with Iphone 4S or 5. Is there a reason for this ?

Manual only mentions the phone models at the time of manufacture, so pretty useless really.

Everything with apple runs on a iOS system if u Bluetooth is a few years old it proberly not compatible i had to fit a parrot to my kenwood car stereo for iphone4s

Apple uses a different frequency of bluetooth iirc.
Like all apple stuff not cross compatatble with a lot of stuff...shocking how they get away with it and charge a premium!

Now have an app that has a IP4 and IP5 ammended bluetooth connectivity ( Basically Apple / Android conversion program, no doubt some clever geek has devised in his bedroom ). It now works and can make calls and recieve calls, but voice activated dialing does not work, but who cares, my voice changes every day depending on my mood before and after work.

A nice option on a Multipla, has even become nicer, now that it works with Blackberry, Samsung, HTC, Apple mobile phones. Maybe Fiat can update the 2008 Bluetooth manual.

I had the bluetooth option fitted to my 2006 multi eleganza but never got to grips with using it correctly to dial. Does it work when you say the name of the person you wish to dial ? Not tried it as yet on my latest phone. How do you set this up if so ? Can Any one help on tjis please.

I'm pretty sure the kits that Fiat supplied were made by Grom. I bought one some years ago on ebay (still boxed) but never fitted it and now I can find the damn thing, or I would have looked out the instructions for you.

It might be worth having a look at the downloads here to see if you can get lucky with setup instructions:

I have an answer for Android, which may have an equivalent in iOS.

My Fabia is 2015, and my earlier phone worked well with it. A new phone connected, but only to answer calls, no test messages, no phone book, no call history.
It seems we are now on Bluetooth v1.4, which cleverly does not communicate with 1.3. Whatever happened to backwards compatibility? Our cars are of course set with 1.3.
Within Android, we can access 'developer mode', and change the phone to use 1.3, although maybe some newer features may not work, but as I don't use anything other than calls and texts, I've no idea about that.
For iOS, you'll need to interrogate Google for answers.
