Hi I'm having problems starting to use this for the first time.
I have downloaded the free version and bought an interface which is shown as being connected to a USB port.
When connected to the vehicle nothing shows when scanning for modules if you try to connect the you get the message No response from ECU check connection and settings
I must be doing something wrong but what??

It's a K-line/vag com bought on e bay the seller seems to have sold others without any probs

couple of things to check - have you downloaded the latest FTDI USB driver?
Currently on version 2.08.24.

Have you changed the latency driver on the USB port (Advanced settings) to 1?

Go to settings (Bottom left on the MultiECUscan screen,) select interfaces and then scan for interfaces, it may well find COM3 and COM4, however you'll only be using ONE of these.
Whatever port you're using, make this the port for interface 1 and 2.

think the ignition needs to be on too.

Thanks chaps got it sorted. But there's no option to reset the service indicator

That's done by pressing the buttons on the speedo..
I managed to do it the first time...but can't do it now!
By the way...do u have a link to where you got your cable from?

Hi I bought the cable on ebay item No 330819032140. It came from Bulgaria but there are others the same on ebay. It was cheaper to get it that way
