Front tyres have almost 10000 miles in them... Nice dunlops too!!!
They are definitely wearing on the inside... Tracking was done when tyres put on... I'm sure I read a out this here before being usually attributed to some bushing or another!!
Any ideas??
Cheers
Marty.

Check the bushes on the bottom of the A-frames, it's normally these being worn out, and the consequent play that causes the scrubbing on the tyres.

If it these, when they're done you'll find the steering very positive and light (Well, by Multipla standards anyway!)

Check this out on Ebay Item No. 270353232419, it's not worth buying the bush kits and faffing about at this price, unless you want to go the poly route but I couldn't find anyone that did poly replacements.

Worn wishbone bushes or bottom ball joint can allow the fronts to toe out, giving inner shoulder wear. It might also be worth getting the tracking checked again because it seems easily knocked out of kilter to me (potholes etc). Also check the two pinch bolts at the bottom of the strut.

Some here recommend setting the tracking to 0 degrees and say that it helps even out wear. Not tried it myself so can't comment.

Beat me to it again, momoe! Since I've redone all my suspension, the handling is great fun. Taught turn in (just the safe side of twitchy) and real bite once turned in. All things are relative, but it drives very nicely for an MPV.

Actually a quick one...
Since I'm in Ireland I may well go the bush replacement route as shipping on wishbones ain't cheap.
Are the front and back wishbone bushes the same?
Cheers
Marty.

To get that rear bush off looks a right pain in the arse...and then pressing the new one on..is another story..
Definately go new wishbone route, it will save a lot of bother and save you having to change later on due other bushes etc being at fault

bms is right. I had a go at getting the bushes off of my new wishbones because at the time I was contemplating getting PU bushes made. They are an interference fit and do not want to be interfered with! Changing the wishbones is easy; changing the bushes only may well make you wish you'd spent a bit extra on the postage.

In answer to your question, the front and rear bushes are different. Piccies in post no.4 here:

Cheers Lads,
Thanks for the info...i didnt realise they were a press fit and had actually gotten a good price on them from somewhere!!

Ziggya-z on ebay has reasonable shipping to ireland and im going to get drums disks and pads aswell while im at it off him....his stuff OK quality?? Item 300438028677

Should i be looking at anti roll bar bushings or tie rod ends while im at it or is it a waste of time unless they are knackered???
Marty.

My wishbones, drums and shoes, discs and pads were from Ziggya-z. Wishbones were fine - I just gave them a fettle to remove some forging flash and a quick coat of enamel afterwards. They are what you see in the photos in the thread I linked to above. Drums and shoes were ok. I also got a spring fitting kit - can't remember where from now - that was about £4/side.

I'd avoid their front discs and pads. Quality wasn't great and they didn't feel 'true' from day one. As it happens, a local Fiat specialist mullered them for me (how kind) when he changed my clutch so I didn't have to put up with them for long. The Pagid discs and pads I put on in their place are far, far better. I've done a couple of thousand miles on them and they just get better and better - very progressive, hardly any fade and seem to run perfectly true. I got them from an ebay seller. Let me know if you want their details. The front axle set was just over £100, delivered.

If the track rod ends and ARB bushes are sound, leave them be.
