Re: Front brake disc recommendations?

Quick update on the Pagid front discs and pads. They've done about 2,500 miles now and I'm very pleased with them. They brake straight and true, no vibration or warping, no disc glazing. Very progressive feel and really stop the car in a hurry when needed. I can't comment on fade as I've not put them through a prolonged drive-it-like-you-stole-it session, but for me they suit the Multi very well. Not much dust and no squeal either (used the Pagid ceramic grease). Too early to say what pad wear is like.

For about 100 inc. VAT and delivery for a set of front discs, pads and ceramic grease, it's a from me.

Re: Front brake disc recommendations?

Most aftermarket Brembo IS actually made in China from scrap metal.
Only the very expensive Performance Brembo discs are made in Italy....!!

Re: Front brake disc recommendations?

Ive got the cheap Brembo discs, left a wheel off for 2 weeks it rained and was damp most of that time, and there was less surface rust on the disc than any other disc ive used

Re: Front brake disc recommendations?

I've used several sets of Brembo Max discs on different cars, they wear so very fast, it's almost unreal...!
Since about 1 year I use Mtec discs ( made in the UK..!!) and I'm very happy with them, no more Brembo for me.
