Hello,

maybe some of you will be interested in changing the dials from CF2 to CF3 multiplas.

You can find more info here (just delete spaces in that link, I'm not allowed to post links yet):

why can i not pull any thing up on this thread via goggle or the forum am i doin some thing wrong

Ditto, I'm impressed at the depth of understanding between the two different systems and the lengths that some folk go to to achieve their goal.

Kudos

I have plans to put some more "howtos" on this forum. There are more tutorials on the polish fanclub forum but only one in english.
It may be interesting for you how to take 5th gear from Fiat punto (it's longer) and put it into multipla's gearbox.

HI miszczu77

I have seen the Punto 5th gear howto on your website, however would you please consider translating the text to English as I have had an extremely cheap offer of the Punto JTD gearbox.

Many thanks

This is equally impressing and interesting. Is the instrument swap process a lot different for a petrol multipla?
The punto fifth gear change also sounds very interesting. I am looking forward to it!

Best

In petrol engine multipla it looks almost the same. It may be even easier than in diesel because there are less signals need to be connected.
There is no oil level sensor.
There is no water in fuel sensor.
There is no glow plug sensor.
The rev meter signal as far as I remember is on the 2nd pin in ECU socket (ECU is under the bonnet).
It may be necessary to change an engine temperature sensor (in most cases there is 2-pin sensor and we need 3-pin).

You can use instrument panel from diesel to petrol and from petrol do diesel. If you put dials form petrol to diesel you will not get an oil level sensor error at the start. But there is possibility that you will not have glow plug indicator.

I will try to translate it as soon as possible. But il will take some time. Be patient.

Maybe some of you will be interested that fuel consumption signal is active in most cases and seems to show proper numbers.
You just need to connect pin A7 in new instrument panel and C42 in ECU (JTD).

Hy!
I have a 1,6 BLUpower Multipla also only CNG version.
How can i locate in ECU the rev meter signal?
You wrote on the 2nd pin in ECU socket. But witch is the 2nd? Im sorry but im newby.
