I have a 55 plate nose job and am seriously considering chipping, mileage is average and mechanically sound as a pound.
I'm looking at using Red Dot as they're local and have good feedback from the Fiat community.

Anyone have experience of chipping the Multi as I'd appreciate any first hand information, this won't be my first chipped TD so I know all about the drastically reduced fuel consumption until the right foot becomes used to the extra grunt;)

Thanks in advance

I chipped my 03 115 JTD, which resulted in clutch-slip on 2-5th gear. The clutch is one year old. I removed the remap, waiting for a new stronger clutch. The little I could sense before the clutch slipped: it was very fast!

I've researched this and you're the first 115 owner who's had major clutch slip, the 105 and 110 clutches apparently weren't up to the job but Fiat appeared to have upgraded the clutch for the 115.
Was your remap optimised for torque or was it a standard remap to about 145?

The tuning was done by a well renowned company in Norway, but I think it was a standard map. The guy at the workshop claimed that it was matched to the car (clutch ect), but seeing what other 115 owners say, i doubt that. Just make sure your remap is the right one. ;)

I've had two tuning boxes, the 1st was a 136bhp/175 lb ft, and I loved driving it tuned , lovely torque, great on motorways, superb midrange for overtaking, very minimal clutch slip, but lost about 4 mpg, so now im doing about 18k miles a year I decided to get a switchable one.
Now I have another tuning box wich is switchable for 147bhp, now it slips in 3rd!!, badly, as ive only just got it, im looking at the mpg comparison and using it on standard power while i figure out what clutch i can fit!, the cars done @115k miles, so is cheap motoring...

Momoe I had my multi done as soon as I got it still shows about 38and half to the gallon did try one off ebay but couldn't get it to work well worth lookIn in to I have noticrd since it wasd done it dents ya top speed to around 105 but might just be my car the only thing that I did have to changr was the clutch 3rd started sliping bad butt then again I fly around in mine so u might be lucky
