Hi,

I have a Multipla (which needs new clutch now), and recently bought a second one for spares, but it looks in very good condition, MOT'd and taxed, far too good to scrap. the reason the previous owner (who only just got it in part exchange) sold it for spares is that he was told that it had an immobiliser fault: when you turn the key to switch the engine on, the engine turns but won't start. Does anyone have any idea on how to get this sorted? as I said the car is in very good condition and would be perfect as a replacement for our second car.

you really need to get it to a garage especially if it is a immobiliser fault...we can give you some suggestions to the fault but it would just be guess work really.
