These 2 warnings have just came on the dash, but i must have knocked the ABS fuse out of the harness when i replaced the battery, i put the fuse back in and these faults are still showing, does anybody know what the EBD light is and would this stop the car from from firing up, it seems to be starved of fuel since these lights came on.... thanks in advance.

Electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) is an braking technology that automatically varies the amount of force applied to each of a vehicle's brakes, based on road conditions, speed, loading, etc. Always coupled with ABS, EBD can apply more or less braking pressure to each wheel in order to maximize stopping power whilst maintaining vehicular control. Typically, the front end carries the most weight and EBD distributes less braking pressure to the rear brakes so the rear brakes do not lock up and cause a skid. In some systems, EBD distributes more braking pressure at the rear brakes during initial brake application before the effects of weight transfer become apparent. there is the answer to ebd but i wouldnt have thought it would stop the car from firing

thanks for the quick response, i took the battery off to restet the computer, i had to rive it about a bit as it was a bit of a pig to get in with the spanner and this how the fuse must have came out, but i have ran the battery right down trying to start the car, after reading a few posts people have said that a dying battery can cause your ABS light to come, going to pick a fuel pump up tomorrow from the scrappy for £30 hopefully this will solve another problem i have.... still need to find a towing eye..... thanks for your help

yeah, a dying battery does cause the abs light and others to play up, give it a good charge or jump to get some power back in her, as for the fuel pump let me know how it goes and just ask if you need help thanks, remember to click the thumb on the bottom of my post if you find them helpful.
