The new shape Multipla has bee out since 04.It must be getting near time for another facelift,by todays standards 5 years is a long while for the same model to keep being produced without some kind of relaunch.I wonder if they will bother because of poor sales Could the end of the Multipla be insightWhat do you think

Might get a new one next year depending on cash flow but would wait a little longer if something new was on the way:slayer:

That won't work.It is the 2x3 that makes it special:slayer:

the original 1950s multipla was 2x3!!!

I think the original uglybug was a classic the moment it was launched. It will be I think one of the few modern classics, using the term classic as you would say in 'Practical Classics.'

It already has two very dedicated forums and an owners club (albeit an online one) and now a couple of model dedicated weekend meets each year. Nearly every one of us who went on to buy a nosejob I would imagine did so because of the 6 seater layout and a love for the vehicle. Certainly not for the extra goodies......

I have said before on here, the Multipla went from being a truly individual and quirky shape to a very fine looking vehicle indeed (especially in New Orleans Blue with the factory 17's, cough cough....) when it was nosejobbed.

I would not buy another Multi if it didn't offer something of the individuality of the uglybug or the nosejob.

In fact I am so smitten with the Multi I am seriously considering getting myself another uglybug as a second car....

Mad? Possibly, but in love with the Multi? Certainly. A design icon and I believe a classic.

I probably won't buy another Multipla if it goes to three rows of two seats. My multi has not been entirely bulletproof but the fact it does have loads of character and the 3 seats up front make up for the growing pains it has as it gets old.

seems odd that the report says it offers 5 seats as though that is a bonus!!! every car (apart from our 500) offers 5 seats!

We love our multi and agree that is will be a design classic, infact that is one of the reasons we bought ours from new 9 years ago! It is just a shame that Fiat kind of ignored it and seemed to hope it would catch on, we never really saw any advertising for it, just a couple of 3x3 ads in a magazine and many people still don't realise that is has 6 seats, they just know it is 'ugly'.

I think they missed a trick. Wouldn't be interested in the 2010 version if it is as described - we will always have our original multi.

I want another uglybug more than anything else, except getting Myrlte remapped, an MX5 for the summer, Brittany Speares in the leotard and the warm custard, a never ending supply of guinness and red wine, Top Gear to be on 24hrs a day and more gold than I could eat.
