The cable for raising and lowering the centre front seat has snapped on my 2001 Multipla. My indepdent garage ordered a replacement, but when they came to fit it they said it was too short, and that the seat will therefore not lock in the upright position - turning my Multipla into a 5 seater. (aside: strangely they seemed to think that this was acceptable as a permanent solution). They have checked with Fiat and this too-short cable is the only part no. for that part. Has anyone had any experience of this?
