Hello
I have recently had the following warning on my dash:
Brake Pads Worn - Contact Garage
Now, the brake pads definitely are not worn, they are pretty much brand new! This is a problem with the wire that senses when the pads are worn. I have had it looked at a few months ago by a Fiat garage and they said they taped the wire up as it was flapping around making contact when I went over a bump and setting the warning buzz off.
It has started happening again, could anyone tell me where this wire is so I can tape it up myself instead of taking it to Fiat again and paying them £40 just to do a 10 minute job!
Or if anyone could tell me how to turn off the buzzer from the dash (the normal buzzer volume doesn't seem to apply) it would also save my sanity.
I just want the bloody noise to stop!
Thanks in advance
