"The Ugly Bug Ball 2008 will held on 16th,17th and 18th MAY
at Billing Aquadrome, Northampton
Camping facilities will available on Puddleduck field which also has the electric hook-up. The main day will be the Sunday 18th. Prices are the same as last year,"
Its the multipla owners meet up, ive never been myself so this year will be the first, im heading down just for sunday.

humm its a two hour drive for me, may be a bit far (considering im not a Multi owner yet)

Are you still looking to buy Emm? I already have a Multi and have decided that my next car will be a Multi pretty much as soon as I bought it
, but with the face lift this time. I was amazed at the prices on some of the cars I have seen recently, they have really come down in price, I am soooo tempted to upgrade now but cannot really justify the cost yet, despite my Multi having a very stubborn squeak - but I shan't get into that again here :bang:

I went to the first one but it usually clashes with shows for my other car.
Faced with a local show or a 4 hour drive to Northampton makes it a no brainer. Shame though.

It will give you an idea of what we get up to!
Sadly, try as we do, we can never get the message across to people that the UBB is a Fiat Multipla Rally for the family. Its a family car, that becomes one of the family and so the whole weekend is geared around the family, particularly the kids. (Both large and small)
This year, we raised cash for the Northampton Autism Society and had a wonderful sunny Sunday afternoon down at Billing Aquadrome doing many little things to please the kids. We coloured in Tee shirts, we made small "Ugly Bugs" in a craft work shop. We raced toy cars along a course and played football and cricket.
Ok, so perhaps your families grown up and you still have your Multi then what do you do?
There's a treasure hunt around Northampton if you wish, a driving skills test which is great against your partner. Good for world war three some might say! Theres the family meal on the saturday night at the Quays restaurant...the car clinic where we try to help those who have a problem. Angel tuning came along with there diagnostic kits and helped out with the odd remap to over 150 bhp all at special club rates as was the negotiated entrance into the park.
What does tha park offer? Excellent camping facilities on site, a hotel next door for the less brave, a fun fair for the kids, jet ski and fishing, bird watching boating and so much more.
So...why weren't you there?:bang:
Next year then? UBB2009 bigger and better....
