Hi - can anyone tell me what I should set the gap for a new set of spark plugs at? Also what torque?

Cheers - Vizzage

Might help if you say what car / engine / plugs are? :)

1,2 kilo's tops torque.0,4-0,6 dependig of car.Japanese car factories use up to 1mm plug gap...

if you buy the correct plugs then the gap should already be pre set and there is no need to torque them, a quarter turn to the right after they dont turn in anymore by finger should be enough

Hmm yes, perhaps I was slightly hasty in pressing submit! It's a Multipla 1600, and I don't know what the plugs are but I imagine they're standard.

Cant find the torque settings but see if 25 - 27 Nm (approx 20lb/ft) rings a bell with any of the experts on here.

WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION though... dont want you to damage the head threads!!!
