Technical General Wear & Tear Clutch 16,000 Miles

This thread is scareing me as my Multi lost all gears yesterday and is currently sat in a garage waiting to be looked at on monday  I had to drive 2 miles in second gear, I could select gears when the engine wasnt running so had to do this and set off in second and drive like this followed by an AA man.

I have AA breakdown and repair but have a feeling they arent going to pay for this as they wont pay if anything is worn and will try and get out of it as much as possible ive been told. And even if they do pay Im only covered up to £500 which by looking at this thread isnt going to cover my bill

Just like to add to this... As the un-named Taxi driver is aware, EAG tried all to fix the concern, and after multiple attempts, the initial concern with the vehicle, which was correctly diagnosed as the clutch, was in fact the cause of the problem and consequential time off the road. Fitting a different batch clutch to the vehicle instantly fixed the concern, which if there wasnt a part concern in the first place the vehicle would have been back on the road instantly in the first place with no further issue's. Hope your case with Glyn Hopkin went ok :)

Sorry to bump such an old thread but how did you get on with rejecting the vehicle under the sale of goods act?
How did it go in court??

I have only seen this problem on a mini copper sport and that belonged to a driving instructor that had raged it
