Hi,

Is there a Haynes (or any other independant) manual that covers the Multipla, or one that covers any close relation(s); cars that share diesel engine, gearbox and drive train? I've seen several offers on Ebay of workshop manuals on CD; are these any good for DIY work on the Multipla?

I'm sorry if I seem to be asking too many questions; just trying to catch up as quickly as posible:)............Jim.

Hi, I was wondering the same thing and went to a car shop yesterday. They didn't have one and looking in the Haynes order book, it seems Haynes don't do one for the Multipla. I guess the next option is to get a Fiat official workshop manual. Perhaps this is what they are selling on Ebay - a scanned version maybe.

Hi,

Since posting the question I wrote to Haynes, and they "do not have any plan to publish one in the near future". I'm not sure about the official Fiat workshop manual on CD; I'd like to hear from someone who has one about how well they are put together, how easy it is to find information. A friend of mine put together a full workshop manual covering the Citroen XM on CD. Everything is there, but it's not always easy to find the section you're looking for............Jim.

I use an old bravo/brava/marea manuel - mechnaicaly they are virtually the same.

I've also got one of the cd's from ebay and I can tell you its rubbish.

There is a very good one in French for those who can understand the lingo. Published by LEA - issue No 407 May 2002, petrol and derv versions from 01/99 onwards. Quite rare though, I got mine off ebay.fr from [email protected].... for about 15 quid I think.
Makes for some head scratching sometimes but the drawings are good. I have just done a cam belt change using it as a reference with no drama.
