Meet at Peartree, then on to H cafe seems a good plan.

Your kind of in the right place. Keep an eye in the "events" section for the bigger forum meetings such as brooklands or stanford hall and in the "clubs" section for more local meets

Long time since I've been to Haynes, and I think they've recently finished a major refurb, so a great idea.
Lots of route options to get there, all slow.

Isn't it in Somerset (their website isn't working this morning - it's not me being more stupider than usual!)? I've always fancied going there, so I'd be keen, even if it may push Midlands boundaries even further outwards!
If it is Somerset (if not I'm going to look daft!), it's a bit of a trek. The WSR is well worth a visit and is the longest (and best?) steam railway going across to Minehead. Any scope for doing both with an overnight at a B&B or something? Just a thought. :idea:
Haynes is in Sparkford, Somerset, East of Yeovil.
Minehead is on the west coast, quite a trek from Sparkford, so including both would be a challenge.
The railway from Minehead goes almost into Taunton, (not allowed to link with mainline, mostly politics), so could be picked up there, to use the train to Minehead, but still probably needs an overnight somewhere.
Quite a challenge to set that one up.
