Well spotted! It does indeed have a slanted wheel on the drivers side and a space saver on the passenger side.
It was damage by sliding sideways into a kerb. The drivers side wheel took the brunt and bent the lower part of the strut hence the funny angle. The rest of the suspension amazingly survived this impact. The passenger wheel also got damaged by running up the same kerb hence the space saver fitted.
This wasn't done by me I hasten to add! My brother in law bought it off the owners and intended to do it up, but then sold it to me. I intended to do it up as well, but then bought the Cinq! Shame as it's in pretty good shape apart from a few dents/ scratches and has a sweet running engine with only 75K on the clock.
I have another set of struts that are going on to it this week which will get the wheel angles right. I'm debating on whether to pull the engine out for transplanting into my Uno or possibly for a Soleil 'Sporting' conversion in the furture. Or I get rid of it whole or break it.
