I didnt get it from a dealer.,
i got it for €100 (bout 68pound in your money) so im not complaining., .,
its a 95 and it has the same badge as my 97?,.
dont all mk1s have that badge?.,.,

It's strange, but I swear there are more Civic Type-R's on the road than the normal Civic of that generation. Almost every Civic I see is the Type-R.

Imagine if there were that many Focus RS/ST's, Astra VXR's, Fiat "HGTs" etc about. Police would be on their toes

yeah, the were only in red, silver and black until 04 when the face lift model came along, we were gonna get it but we needed a car and they had a waiting list on them,

its actually the oposite over here, very few of these civics at all regardless of which spec., and they hold there value way better that all the rivals,.,
i was offered 17K for it recently and paid 21K nearly 3 years ago, same year/spec golf would go for 14ish.,
were gonna go see the new civic type-R soon so might get that or the 5series BMW.,

you all have it handy, living in UK., , Ireland has the highest insurance premiums in europe. , about 5grand for a 18year old in a 1L micra.,

I'll admit, I've got a soft spot for the EP3 Civic... wouldnt say no to a Cosmic Grey Type R one day :yum:

like the colour, and with the white wheels its different.

doesn't work in B&W though, no where near a strong enough shape for it to work. think more like a volvo estate on steroids, or an f40, that would come out in B&W, but not a bulgy soft civic

was pretty cloudy and the sun had just set so its hard to get contrast in the pics with the light coloured sand, obviously thats gets even more difficult with BW photos but im happy with the way the first one came out, i had the light to my left so gave a nice shaded area to the front of the car., other pics were shaded side .,

and volvo?., err, no thanks.,

I was going to, but I thought it would look good after the new grill is fitted, it doesnt have a "H" badge and im probably gonna change that bonnet too, fancy a carbon one with just the 2 little vents at the top corners .,

Update:
so this is the latest addition to the family, shes a 1.3L DX Civic 1993 EG,
i got it cheap the other day with a blown bottom end.,
im gonna kit her out with full VTi/SIR VTEC :devil: specs and clean her up with a carbon fibre hood, tailgate and spoiler, aswell as new suspension, and a full respray either in white again or in the same colour blue as my other civic, then a set of tail lights with just the clear and red parts.,

You bastard, I spent months looking for a DX before eventually going for the Punto (wouldn't go back now tho... well maybe...)
