Bravo (Classic) 20 valves, 2 litres and 147hp of pure italian muscle...

Introduction

Some of you might know already but I have given babz my cinq due to her Sei being writted off. She needs a new car and insurance probs arent paying out out for atleast another month or so. We are moving at the end of the week and the rental company arent likely to let her take the courtesy car with her as were moving halfway up the country! Ive done the manly :)p) thing and given her my car! Not free but ill take whatever the payout is for it whenever it comes through.

Anyway, Obviously I need a new car now... I didnt want something boring or slow as my insurance has just dropped so I can actually afford something with a bigger engine!

I looked at a number of cars to go for... Honda CRX Vtec, Rover 216 Coupe 1.8vvc, Alfa 145 cloverleaf, Alfa 146 2.0 16v.. etc.

But that would mean leaving the fiat crew.. which i didnt want to (y) :D

soooooooo....

Say hello to my Bravo HGT :slayer: Painted in Imola Blue (well its got a different name but its the same as cinq imola blue). Excellent condition body except for one slight dint in the drivers door under the mirror. Ital push out though and is only minor.

Interior is in lovely condition. everything works! (y) only prob is the airbag light is on  Im not really that bothered tbh. Im not paying £40+ to get rid of a light :p

Engine is average milage for the age (83k) but had the cam belt dont at 79k which is what attracted me to the car. Alot of service history etc and the owner mentioned boo and some other forums so Its been looked after by an "enthusiast" atleast (y)

Drives great! hit 3500k and its like a turbo kicking in  :D and that noise  sooooo nice!!!

Good thing though is that the cinq is still about (y) Photoshoot coming soon :p
they look excellent. suit the car perfectly

Acceleration has slowed but not majorly. im suprised though, rim diameter really isnt that different and with a nice torque engine under the bonnet, i didnt expect it to be too noticable.

i have 15s for a reason ;)
on an HGT there really shouldnt be much difference. but imagine the effect on a 1.4 or 1.2!

Well cleverly i hit a curb today and scuffed the entire outer rim around the front passenger wheel  :bang:

one more reason to respray em white :p the other reason is that one of them is a different shade of grey to the others, plus all have some curbing :bang:

So next update might be with white TSW Volcanos :D

looks good on the bravo mate, i have a set of them wheels waiting t be painted., im gonna do them gunmetal on the insides and silver on the rim., ive had white wheels too long now so lookin for a change.,.(y)

well they were nice wheels, but all of 5sec's that took.

christ, the only time i've ever hit a kerb when driving was when I had an instructor to get me thru the test (with BSM), I asked why I had a different car everytime, he explained learners kept crashing/killing them, I asked what if I crashed it, he said, 'lets find out' and then said where I could crash it.
so yes, I DID get to trash a corsa C:worship: theres an area thru harrington/workington that has stupid arse traffic calming, I simply drove OVER the sodding bendy road thigns, only damage was some scuffing to teh bumper whre the plastic bollard went under the car, adn a exploded wheeltrim:cry:
I wan't it to explode:(

Car washing is what you do on a sunday morning. Carwashes are for Disabled or lazy people. (sorry if your the former:eek:)

As for the rimmage, looks nice:p(lol). I'm looking for a dark set of rims for my punto, something along those lines would be great. just got a new job and think I know where my first wage packet is going ;)

the other reason is that one of them is a different shade of grey to the others, plus all have some curbing :bang:

 so im not the only one to experience this! we had a set of 15s in our work which we sold. the guy came back a week later with one of them a lighter shade than the others! trouble is TSW have stopped producing this wheel now so we had to swap the wheels and sell the volcanos off cheap. quite surprised were not the only ones!
