Where did you get your abarth badges from? and was the original punto badge on the boot hard to remove? i think that the vinyl between both grilles looks pretty good!!!

Heya, the badges I spotted on ebay, the guy runs this shop http://abarthbadges.com/store/home.php
Sells all the badges you see except the calliper lettering, that was from ebay an all.

The original Punto badge I had on when I bought the car and then just before I went to collect it asked the dealer if he could have it taken off - Was done by the time arrived, with no scratches or dents. - If in doubt ask your dealer, thats what I do lol.

Glad you all like it.

omg, it looks sooo wrong with the steering wheel on the right :). jokes aside, nice looking punto you got there!

I thought he had an "L" plate on the front at first, but at second glance it's actually the reflection of the 4x4 next to it I think.

[Edit] - No it's an "L" plate - didn't look at the big version :D

Like the new Punto, but not to sure about the Abarth badges plastered all over it? Looks tacky IMHO but guess that's just personal preference.

Great car. I am currently saving up so I can get myself one. I want the Sporting as well. I plan to save and wait for them to depreciate a load then pick one up at a nice price in 18 months to 2 years time. A definite next car for me.

Thanks all, yea lucky learner - saved up for... well for ever really.

On my 7th lesson and my instructor seems happy enough.

Having it put up to 170bhp, when i've passed, by Angel Tuning. :slayer:
The Abarth badges came from the number plate really, got Scorpion and thought hmmm. Hey presto the Abarth Tribute was born.

Cinqster355 keep on saving, you'll deffinately get their, I had to juggle my college work and jobs, many jobs - 4 in total!

Anybody notice that the front bumper aint meant to be black - God bless Vinyl

P.s. The 4x4 is my dads Nissan Navara sitting on 24's from SWT.

Tar,
Tom

hi mate car looks very nice (y) the side stripes remind me of the fiesta ST stripes a little .and did you get the man who puts the rear punto badges on to fit your back number plate or is it just the photo :D
Oh and did you not consider red front and back badges insted of blue ????

lol, no. I put the plate on (with a spirit level - sad i know) just the entire pic is angles. Did all the stripes and bumper vinyl myself aswell - With alot of help from my dad of course, no bubbles either which is good.

Tar for your comments an all

think its time you bought a new spirit level, car in the picture is at an angle and the plate looks straight  .only messing mate, bein watching your post in the grande section as well and like moast of the vinel bits youve (y) done .what about the badges though why not red ??? to much ?.
also should be getting the angle tunning remap for mine on saturday so will let you know what its like (cant wait :slayer: )

Cheers mate, will be interesting to see what difference the remap makes to the performance, take it you drive the 1.9 as well then?

I did infact buy them in red, but didn't think they stood out enough with it being a red car an all. Black had something about it. Used the red ones on the side of the seats (on the wheel that adjusts the position the back of the seat is in) - Pics to come when I get home.

Thanks
Tom

Love the seats on that car I saw one of 1.9s in a dealers the other day and didnt know what model it was as they dont put the model type on the GPs nice to see the punto badge is stick on can do the wifes now without leaving holes :D

Brilliant, I love it and I am not a big fan of the GP. What would look absolutely stunning is a set of Team Dynamics Race wheels in a dark colour like anthracite or black (y)

That looks really good. I'm not normally a fan of "modified" cars but the subtle changed you have made look great.

My favourite bit of your car is the front end. Having the black around the front number plate looks far better than just having it painted. Reminds me of a Golf GTI [sorry if thse words shouldn't be used]

Mind you, it is very similar looking to the grille on my Panda 100HP.

Good to see another Bristol based forum member to. I will give you a wave if I see your car about. It's probably as hard to miss as mine! :D
