I did.. so its a complete new headlight unit then, nice, i thought youd opened them up and put the ring inside then resealed them. Some neds round our way have them stuck to the outside of there lights...

Do they have fogs too?

they take the H1 bulbs m8! and they do have fogs (mountainmachine), at the back of the light unit theres an extra block plug which you would use to plug into the original fogs (if mk2s have them, as ive never seen any), but i havnt got fogs so havnt got anything to plug the fog light plugs into!

oh..someone else asked about the colour of the halo rings, as i said in real life they are actually a white/blue, and they look even more bluey when the headlights are on, i think it was my digital camera that made the pics come out yellowish for some reason, although i dont know why

They do look good on the car, however I went off angel eyes the day i saw them on a transit van :yuck: even though I have a BMW

and before everyone states the obvious, im hoping to lower it alot more, looking at going down to a 75mm drop in the near future!!

i have these aswell and was wodering why u dnt have a bright light at the corner of each light when ur sidelights are on?

did u just remove the bulb or sumthing?

very nice, lovely colour, lights, and alloys. Just a bit of smoothing with an abarth bodykit and that car would look even better! dubmiester though? Its fiat!

hey, no i cut the wires for the sidleights and connected the halos to them, so now the halo rings act as my sidelights!

i think it looks better like this imo!

cheers, already removed the rubstrips, hopefully gonna smooth the bonnet sometime soon, not sure about the abarth bodykit though as im going for the euro look!

nothing wrong with dubmeister, although they specialise in vags, but thats where i got my wheels!

You can safely run both btw, on my mk1 my sidelights were the rings and the small light stayed on all the time from dipped to full beam. Either way still looks great. Yeh wasnt's diggin the VAGs specialist, just sayin, doesnt look right ona fiat to me lol. Abarth kit smooth in and rounded a little can look uber euro, but also standard/dropped bumpers that have the recesses filled look great too. That used to be my fav thing to do to custoemrs cars, smooth and lightly extend standard bumpers etc. Your heading in the right direction already though, so whatever you do i'm sure it'll turn out just great

yeah thats what i hoping to do, smooth out the standard bodywork, and as i said going for the euro/OEM look!

thanks jordan, will post more pics when i get some more things done, just dont know what to do next, got so many ideas, unfortunatley havnt got the money to implement them atm, but ill get there!!

Nice loving the Angel Eyes are they easy to fit and come with instructions? .. found out if they are a MOT failer either mate ... Also were did you get the italian number plates?

yeah fairly straight forward, no instructions though!

just a matter of swapping the units over, the only thing is, the wires for the halos arent connected to anything, so youll have to do this yourself, i just wired them into the sidelights and left the original sidelights disconnected!

my last MOT was a few months back, having the halos as sidelights was fine although the beam (dipped bulb) was too low, had that sorted by ultra (who supplies them) but now they are too high! basically aslong as the beam is at the right level then youll be fine!

got the rear number plate from ultimate street car, they make the up there, although i wanted something a bit different for the front, so i ordered an italian front number plate from america, www.licenseplates.tv, was about £40 for the plate inc. delivery!

got a digital camera for my bday so me and my mate took our cars out yest and took some pics.
