Well, day off today as every Thursday and so I thought i was about time I got round to fitting my alarm.



A nice new scorpion thingy with all the usual features

• Ultrasonic interior sensors
• Duel circuit immobilisation (not fitted )
• Bonnet switch
• Door switch
• Boot switch

Took a good 5 hours to fit whilst working around the old alarm (philips rubbish) trying to salvage any wiring i could Managed it eventually and its all working lovely

Also whilst I was working on the alarm a nice delivery man turned up (not that nice actually because he thought my cinq was a punto :bang: . However, still nice because he was delivering these -



Couldnt resist a trial fit -






They will fit ok but will need 15mm spacers. they catch the inner arch on the rear and catch the steering arm on the front. 15mm spacers and longer bolts will sort it. Not 100% sure if I want to go this route so ill think about it I do love them though

But thats not all! I didnt fit these today BUT i havent posted about them just yet soooooo -

what are the wheels? They look quite nice!

They are Mangles 13" x 6" chromed steel wheels. Not alloys

the one on ebay is dented but he has loads of sets to shift so i didnt get the dented one

should have some 15mm spacers spare i think, i defo have a pair of fk 10mm spacers

why didnt you go pick um up its only 20 minuets from yours an he would have fitted tyres and balanced um for free

he closes too early and wasnt willing to meet afterhours. plus my only day off during the week is thurs and he is closed that day so couldnt really collect em. I wanted to but it wasnt possible.

dont he open on sunday no more? in the old days he had 5 staff and did 7 days a week, place was always packed with customers, now there a lot more sellers on ebay and last few times ive been up there theres been only him and i was only customer, shame he is selling up he dont me some right good deals in the past

ive found the spacers i need.. 20mm hubcentric jobbies so ill get em when i get the money.. then gotta wait for tyres
