Re: Introducing the improved Bravobeastie :D

Can get some pics, shes just been sat in the garage for 2 and a bit years and i'd prefer that she was being used and appreciated than just sitting there. I will obviously be giving it a service before i sell it but it all works (or at least it did last time i used it lol) its a 1972, so that means its got vertical headlights and flat windscreen (that'll mean something to a air-cooled lover) its a 1300. Completely standard with set empi 8 alloys, its kinda matt sky blue (been painted with rattle cans by previous owner, buts not bad job, looks good i reckon) and white vynil interior.

Dunno how much i want yet, not thought about it

I thought I'd ask as I have a friend who's heavily into the dub scene and may be able to help in getting it sold for you

Very nice mate! Top work!

Can I ask, do the Stilo rims fit no problem with 205/40s? Or are spacers needed? Any catching with them? Also what engine is it if you dont mind me asking?

Re: Introducing the improved Bravobeastie :D

205/40's fit no problem, I'm also lowered 40-45mm and still have no issues.
there's plenty of arch room, I'm thinking of spacing them out a bit to fill the arches as at the front they look like they are getting swollowed up!

My car is a 1.2 16v...Angeltuned one at that

Re: Introducing the improved Bravobeastie :D

i love the front bumper. makes it look very different to other bravos without looking like it isnt meant to be there

and the wheels worked out amazing too. they're perfect.

not sure its wise to prevent cold air getting to rad (especially on a on a 1.2) by having the plate in the way, but summer will quickly tell you if thats going to be a problem. keep an eye on the temp gauge

eagerly awaiting fitting of the skirts.

such a shame its only a 1.2

Re: Introducing the improved Bravobeastie :D

lol, it wont be a 1.2 forever i'm sure I've been contemplating doing a major engine change or whether to sell up and buy an audi a3 diesel...my head says economy but my heart says sod it, tubby 2 litre for the win! lol.

numberplate isn't an issue, have been out with it in hot weather and it seems fine. fans cooling it down when sat stationary etc.

Re: Introducing the improved Bravobeastie :D

nowt much to report, took sideskirts back to essex at the weekend to be redone again due to the paint going thin and weird in places...and Young sp33di filmed me leaving to go home back to the boro' :

Unsure whether I like how raspy the exhaust has got since I smacked it getting up a curb at work LOL
