Gaz, you know it mate Although it was closer to 4 months in the Punto due to extra weight and wind resistance Overtaking on the motorway in it had to be a carefully orchistrated plan overwise I would get taken out by a more powerful car coming up behind me

Cheers for that Apple I took a look on that site and once VAT and Reg Fees are applied it works out more than it costs directly from the DVLA.

Not much planned just yet to be honest, I want to keep it very subtle. First few bits are debadging, clear side repeaters, either Alfa 147 or Marea door handles (current ones are ready to join all of the other Bravo/a door handles in the rubbish bin lol).

Once I've done those bits I will then look into:
  • Lowered 40mm
  • Tinted Windows (Gradual Smoke All Round)
  • Subtle Exhaust System

Once those few bits are done I will look into getting some different wheels and then maybe on to a little bit of engine work

Ooops I forgot to mention that

Looking to find a Black Marea HLX to raid for some parts (headlights, rear door handles (maybe), centre console with arm rest (I think you can get them with black fabric arm rests) and possibly the front bumper as well if I can get it cheap (slight crack in mine plus one of the foglight covers is cracked so if I can swap the lot out in one then job done )

oh yes definately get the marea centre console. i made my armrest black using some lycra. 4 allen bolts seperates the fabric part, then you cover it and stick it back on.

Re: I couldn't resist

very nice looking hgt youve got yourself thre mate, well done just be careful with it in these damp funny conditions, its a bit slippery, and anyone that says it was no torgue is lying out of their backsides... hence mine going bye bye

get the marea polys, armrest, smoked indicators and even the front bumper and it will look fantastic... can also recomend the PI -40mm springs for the hgt, i had eibach, but been in a couple with the PI and they are just as good imo

Re: I couldn't resist

Well I finally got around to uploading a few photos from my phone and thought I would share them with you.

The Night I picked it up (too dark for pictures )

The Next Morning (before I went to work)

2.0 20v 5pot

And a couple of quick snaps before the sun went down completely

Now for what I've been working on today (the washer jets)

Thanks to mum for the loan of the coffee mug. They seem to be clearing out pretty well, will give them a little bit longer in the water and then take them out and leave them overnight in the airing cupboard so they are ready to be refitted in the morning

Also plans for tomorrow are debadging and a good clean so it will hopefully give me the opportunity to get some better pictures

Re: I couldn't resist

Cheers Jami I havent even got her on the road yet and already I love it so I can imagine my smile once its on the road

As for the washers, the bonnet lining is held on by little black clips. Prise the 2 clips closest to the washer jets off with a flat blade screwdriver and then pull the lining back slightly. You should now have enough room to get in behind it and sqeeze the washer jets from behind either with your fingers or a pair of pliers and then they will just pop out of the bonnet
