Re: I couldn't resist

Who told you? :( :p lol - Yep hopefully... that's the plan anyway (y)

Are you going to become Si – Bravo?????

I dont know to be honest, I used Si - Punto as my username on practucally everything so changing it might cause some confusion.

I might go for Si - Punto* (*Drives a Bravo*) lol

Can see why you couldn't resist... nice car in good condition (y)

... first job if it were mine... smoked / clear repeaters

Thanks very much :D

Will be done as one of the first jobs mate (y)

Re: I couldn't resist

OK so I've had the car less than 24 hours and I'm already posting in Bravo/a Technical

Got to admit I have fallen in love with the HGT already and I havent even got her on the road yet :D

Re: I couldn't resist

Very nice Si very nice (y) I see you too are/were sick of spending 3 months reaching 60mph ;)

Gaz, you know it mate (y) Although it was closer to 4 months in the Punto due to extra weight and wind resistance :p Overtaking on the motorway in it had to be a carefully orchistrated plan overwise I would get taken out by a more powerful car coming up behind me

S11 Hgt = 189 on regtransfers.co.uk

Cheers for that Apple (y) I took a look on that site and once VAT and Reg Fees are applied it works out more than it costs directly from the DVLA.

Looks good Si (y) ! You got any plans for it so far?

Not much planned just yet to be honest, I want to keep it very subtle. First few bits are debadging, clear side repeaters, either Alfa 147 or Marea door handles (current ones are ready to join all of the other Bravo/a door handles in the rubbish bin lol).

Once I've done those bits I will then look into:

  • Lowered 40mm
  • Tinted Windows (Gradual Smoke All Round)
  • Subtle Exhaust System

Once those few bits are done I will look into getting some different wheels and then maybe on to a little bit of engine work

Re: I couldn't resist

Ooops I forgot to mention that

Looking to find a Black Marea HLX to raid for some parts (headlights, rear door handles (maybe), centre console with arm rest (I think you can get them with black fabric arm rests) and possibly the front bumper as well if I can get it cheap (slight crack in mine plus one of the foglight covers is cracked so if I can swap the lot out in one then job done ;) )

Re: I couldn't resist

centre console with arm rest (I think you can get them with black fabric arm rests)

oh yes definately get the marea centre console. i made my armrest black using some lycra. 4 allen bolts seperates the fabric part, then you cover it and stick it back on.

Re: I couldn't resist

very nice looking hgt youve got yourself thre mate, well done :) just be careful with it in these damp funny conditions, its a bit slippery, and anyone that says it was no torgue is lying out of their backsides... hence mine going bye bye :(

get the marea polys, armrest, smoked indicators and even the front bumper and it will look fantastic... can also recomend the PI -40mm springs for the hgt, i had eibach, but been in a couple with the PI and they are just as good imo (y)
