Well I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, it’s my first attempt at anything like this so be nice. I'm very happy with the results.

As you can see I’ve made a false floor raised the sub up about 3 inches and put a hinged section to hide my amp.

So what you all think?​

I rather like that actually, it's a nice change to see a boot install that doesn't render the boot completely useless :D

How does it sound? I always had a feeling that a false floor would vibrate and make a nasty sound.
 
Clean and tidy, although I'm not a fan of some your kit :)
 
Its alright with the floor, because if the weight it doesnt vibrate or anything. i've stuck some blocks of wood to make it level and the fit is so snug it doesnt move. Cheers for the other comments.

Which parts ofthe kit you mean? i know the amp is a little basic, but was all i could aford at the time. The sub was upgraded a few months ago, had a mutant sub that was ****, but the alpine is 100% better.

The amp specifically James :) You can get much better for not much more cash ;)

40 quid can still buy you a fairly decent amp if you know where to look :) Still, if you're happy with it, then that's all that matters :)
 
Im sure a JBL GTO would run that sub betterm wouldnt it? You could sell yours to get one, and reap a little benefit from it? like Dai said though, if you're happy (y) Becasue it does look good, i know personally i just like to see thigns running efficiently and to their maximum capability personally, and i havnt heard it, so im not passing judgement, again does look good! (y)
